"I need an exit, I need an exit..."

Well, I've got a bone to pick with the city of Boston.

This'll be old news to most, but recently their was a bomb scare in Boston over some suspicious looking black boxes that were attached to some support beams on Interstate 93. City police and firefighters were tied up for many a minute while working on addressing the issue.

Well, in the end, the day was made safe from...an advertising campaign. That's right, people, the city of Boston was up in tizzy over black boxes which displayed an LED image of the popular Mooninite characters from the Cartoon Network show Aqua Teen Hunger Force. It was blue, too. Bright blue.

Here's a photo:

Authorities said it looked threatening. I'll let you be the judge. They also said that it has an external battery source and had wires protruding, just likea homemade explosive. Wow, it seems that those are also the characteristics of grassroots-advertised LED displays! Whoops!

Also, these LED displays were placed in 8 other cities.......who had pretty much no idea that they were there. also, they didn't care. So when they were notified, I'm pretty sure that they just laughed and said, "Huh?" Even LA didn't wig out, and I'm sure that those people are just paranoid that someone will nuke their city and hope that Jack Bauer rears his head to save the day.

Needless to say Cartoon Network has since apologized and offered to pay compensation to Boston authorities. Also, just a few days ago, the head of Cartoon Network quit. He quit!!! So I just want to go on record as saying: "City of Boston, you owe this man his job."

I also wanted to post a video. This is a band called Guillemots. They are kind of a big deal.
